quarter [‘kwͻ:tǝ] - четверть
second [‘sekǝnd] - секунда
watch [wɒʧ] - часы (наручные) - face:
1) the girl’s face лицо девочки
the children’s faces лица детей
I’m happy to see Wendy’s face again. Я счастлив снова видеть лицо Венди.
2) The face of a clock циферблат часов
A clock has a face. У часов есть циферблат.half – halves:
the first half of the text первая половина текста
the second half of the poem вторая половина стихов
half an apple половина яблока
half a day половина дня
The first half of the fable was not interesting. Первая половина басни была неинтересной.
Put the two halves together. Сложи две половины вместе.hand:
1) my right hand моя правая рука

The boy’s hands were not clean, his hands were dirty. Руки мальчика не были чистыми, его руки были грязными.
