It’s a Party - Вечеринка

The Barkers are having a party this afternoon. У семья Баркеров сегодня днём вечеринка.
It’s Sally’s birthday and a lot of friends are coming to say happy birthday to her. У Салли день рождения, и много друзей приходят, чтобы поздравить её.

Sally’s mother and grandmother are cooking in the kitchen. Мама и бабушка Салли готовят на кухне.
Sally and John are putting the food and dishes on the table. Салли и Джон раскладывают еду и блюда на столе.
Mr. Barker is helping them. Господин Баркер помогает им.

Look at the table. Посмотри на стол.
What can you see on it? Что можно видеть на нём?
There is some ham and cheese pizza, sandwiches, chicken salad and tomato and cucumber salad. Есть ветчина и пицца с сыром, сэндвичи, салат с цыплёнком и салат с помидорами и огурцами.
There are drinks too: apple juice, orange juice and mineral water. Напитки тоже есть: яблочный сок, апельсиновый сок и минеральная вода.
The hot dish, chicken with rice and vegetable, is not on the table. Горячее блюдо, цыплёнок с рисом и овощами, не на столе.
It is in the kitchen. Оно на кухне.

Now the friends are beginning to come. Сейчас друзья начинают приходить.
Peter and Kate are here. Питер и Кейт здесь.
P e t e r: Hi! Happy birthday, Sally. П и т е р: Привет! С днём рождения, Салли.
K a t e: Happy birthday, dear. К е й т: С днём рождения, дорогая.
P e t e r: Here is your present. П и т е р: Вот подарок.
S a l l y: Oh! It’s a wonderful book. Thanks a lot. С а л л и: О! Замечательная книга. Большое спасибо.
K a t e: And this mug and chocolates are from me. К е й т: А эта кружка и шоколад от меня.
S a l l y: I love them. Thank you very much. And what is it there on the mug? Is it my picture? Oh, thanks again. It is beautiful. Would you like some juice or mineral water? С а л л и: Я люблю их. Большое спасибо. А что это на кружке? Это моя фотография? О, еще раз спасибо. Она красивая. Хотите ли вы сока или минеральной воды?
P e t e r: Mineral water for me, please. П и т е р: Мне минеральной воды, пожалуйста.
K a t e: Can I have a cup of tea? К е й т: Можно мне чашку чая?
S a l l y: Here is your water, Peter. Green tea or black tea, Kate? С а л л и: Вот твоя вода, Питер. Зелёный или чёрный чай, Кейт?
K a t e: Green, please, and no sugar. К е й т: Зелёный, пожалуйста, и без сахара.
Sally is happy to see her friends and now two more girls and a boy are at the door of her house. Салли счастлива видеть своих друзей, и сейчас еще две девочки и мальчик у дверей её дома.
